How engagements start

From first conversation to handover

Three stages. No surprises in scope or price.

  1. Define

A discovery call maps your goals, constraints, and what 'done' looks like — written down before you commit.

  2. Deliver

Implementation against the brief, with every choice explained as we make it.

  3. Enable

Walkthrough and training for the people using it day-to-day. Hand to your team or we stay on — whichever fits.

What every client gets

Built into every engagement

Four things you can rely on from day one.

  • Direct access to your consultant

Every question is answered by the consultant delivering your engagement.

  • Transparent Pricing

What's agreed is what's invoiced. No mid-project surprises.

  • Documented from day one

Runbooks and decision logs as standard.

  • Vendor-neutral by default

Chosen for fit, not commission. Open-source first.

Common questions

Common questions

Do you provide IT support for UK schools?

Yes — UK schools, sixth-form colleges, and multi-academy trusts are a core audience. We deliver IT strategy, AI training, cyber security, infrastructure, and bespoke web tooling. Education organisations receive a 15% discount on every AI-training workshop tier.

Do you work with businesses?

Yes — UK businesses from 10+ staff. Same vendor-neutral approach, same published pricing, same documentation-first delivery. Common briefs: SaaS cost control, workflow automation, internal tooling, secure infrastructure refresh, and AI adoption.

What does vendor-neutral IT consulting mean?

We don't resell licences and earn no commission from any platform. We recommend what fits your context — open-source where it reduces cost and improves ownership, paid platforms where they're genuinely better. Either way, you own the result and the documentation.

Can you work alongside our existing IT provider?

Absolutely. Most of our business and school engagements run alongside an in-house team or an existing managed-service provider. We bring strategy, AI adoption, automation, or cyber security expertise that doesn't always sit inside a generalist IT contract — and we hand over documentation so your existing provider can pick up day-to-day support. We don't try to replace what's working.

Do your IT support contracts have a minimum term?

No. Every ReadyToday engagement is free of minimum-term lock-in — Programmes run month-to-month with one month's notice, and one-off projects are scoped and quoted up front. If you stop seeing value, you stop paying. It's one of the few categorical differences between us and most UK managed-service providers.

Do you support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for Education?

Yes — both. We configure, secure, and train staff on Microsoft 365 (including A1, A3, and A5 for Education) and Google Workspace for Education every week. If you're moving between the two, or running both, we'll tell you honestly which one fits your organisation. We don't resell either licence, so the advice is yours, not the vendor's.

Where do you work?

UK-wide. Remote-first for advisory, ongoing delivery and training; on-site for workshops and infrastructure days.

How much does managed IT cost for a UK business?

Flexible IT Support is £650/mo, including 10 hours of hands-on engineer time each month. Enterprise AI Training is £795/month with 35 seats included (extra seats £8.50/seat/month). One-off projects are quoted against the published service catalogue, and AI training workshops start from £425 per session — book three or more within 12 months and every session is 25% off. Every price is published — see /pricing for the full picture.
